Maisie Williams to be bridesmaid for Sophie Turner

Maisie Williams has revealed she will be a bridesmaid when her best friend Sophie Turner marries Joe Jonas.
The 20-year-old actress formed a close bond with Sophie after the pair first began starring as sisters Arya and Sansa Stark in HBO fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones’, and has admitted that their close bond has even bagged her a role in Sophie’s impending wedding.
When asked if she was hoping to be secure a bridesmaid position for the nuptials, Maisie said: "Oh, already got it. Yeah, it’s very, very exciting. It’s kind of bizarre though."
The 21-year-old beauty and her DNCE singer fiancé haven’t begun planning their big day just yet though, as Maisie revealed that Sophie is keen to wrap filming on the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ – which will air in 2019 – before she lets wedding planning take over her life.
Maisie told Radio Times magazine: "We’re waiting ’til this season’s done until we get into it. But I think she’s already letting her little heart wander and imagine."
Meanwhile, former Jonas Brother’s star Joe still has to decide who to appoint as his best man, with the options likely being between his brothers and former band mates Kevin and Nick Jonas.
Nick previously insisted he would he honoured to take on the role, but pointed out Kevin’s 2009 marriage to his wife Danielle saw both himself and Joe act as dual best men.
When asked if he knows who will be the best man, Nick said: "I think my brother Kevin, when he got married, he had all of us be the best men. That’s kind of the diplomatic approach, but I don’t know. It’s up to him."
Joe and Sophie announced their engagement back in October by posting photos of her ring on Instagram, with each of them recalling how Sophie "said yes".
