Bonnie Langford still has sore hip after Dancing on Ice fall

Bonnie Langford’s hip will "probably never" get better after she tore the joint on ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2014.
The ‘EastEnders’ star injured herself when she took part in the skating show four years ago for the all-star special – just before the programme was pulled off air – and she has advised all the contestants doing the forthcoming reboot to buy themselves some pads because she’s still battling with painful joints.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Bonnie said: "Buy some arnica and get some pads, get those padded trousers the skiers have that you can just fall on and don’t be frightened to fall over because it will happen. There have been some major injuries. I’ve still got an injury. I’ve got an impingement in my hip because I tore a bit of my hip when I was doing it last time. It probably won’t get better."
But the 53-year-old actress couldn’t praise the medical team enough for taking care of her.
She explained: "Fantastic physio, oh my goodness the physiotherapist on it she is brilliant, Sharon, I know she’ll be on it again she is brilliant. She literally puts people back together again. But you know wear and tear, there’s a lot of wear and tear on that show.
"You’ve just got to throw yourself into it that’s the only way, is just to relax and enjoy it. I used to get too nervous, tense, but you know keep enjoying it, keep having fun."
‘Dancing on Ice’ returns to screens tonight on ITV.
