Dapper Laughs to join Celebrity Big Brother

Dapper Laughs is set to join the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house tomorrow (05.01.18).
The controversial funnyman – whose real name Daniel O’Reilly – has reportedly signed up to the new series of the reality TV show and will be entering the abode at the end of the week alongside Boyzone’s Shane Lynch and footballer John Barnes.
A source told The Sun Online: "Dapper Laughs is going to make great TV and he’s definitely going to spice things up in the house. It’s been a pretty bland series so far so they definitely need him in there to ruffle some feathers with the ladies."
The comedian hasn’t been in the spotlight since his show ‘On The Pull’ was axed in 2014 after more than 50,000 people signed a petition to have it removed from screens when he joked that a female audience member was "gagging for a rape".
The 33-year-old star has since become a father to his 12-month-old Neve – whom he has with his girlfriend Shelley Rae – and now describes himself as a feminist.
Eight famous females – including India Willoughby, Malika Haqq and Ashley James – entered the lavish pad at the beginning of the week as part of an all-female special to mark 100 years since women won the right to vote, but they won’t be alone for long as eight men are expected to be joining them over the weekend to ruffle feathers.
But the men may struggle to feel at home as the famous abode has been given a feminine makeover to mark the celebration.
There are two bedrooms – each of which is named after a famous woman who campaigned for women’s votes.
The Pankhurst room is named after Emmeline Pankhurst, the leader of the British suffragette movement and the other room is called Davison after political activist Emily Davison, who died when she threw herself under King George V’s horse Anmer at the Epsom Derby in 1913.
