Melissa Benoist and Blake Jenner’s divorce has been made official.
The ‘Supergirl’ actress initially filed for divorce in December 2016, citing irreconcilable differences, but there were no child custody or support issues to iron out because they don’t have any kids together.
According to gossip website TMZ, the former couple reached a property settlement but didn’t file it with the courts.
They are said to have told the judge their issues have been resolved and have sorted out who receives what from their two-year marriage, and she has restored her maiden name to Benoist.
The former ‘Glee’ co-stars – who portrayed Marley Rose and Ryder Lynn – tied the knot in March 2015 surrounded by their family and close friends after he popped the question in July 2013.
Speaking about their engagement, Blake previously said: "It was fun, it was real low-key. It was private. I did sing, I sang ‘Will you marry me?’ It was funny, it was a lot like us."
Melissa, 29, and Blake, 25, met on the set of the Fox musical drama series in 2012 when their characters played love interests.
Speaking about working with Melissa in 2014, Blake said: "I thought she was the bomb the second I saw her, so it was just super cool to be working together.
"Thankfully, we’ve had some scenes together. Because if we didn’t, I don’t think we would have had the time to get to know each other."
Melissa has portrayed the titular character in ‘Supergirl’ since 2015, and Blake appeared in two episodes as Adam Foster back in 2016.
