Britney Spears’ songwriter Steve Anderson has teamed up with musicologists, composers and choirs to create the ultimate Christmas song.
The single features key components identified by musicologist, Dr Joe Bennett, to make people happier including sleigh bells ringing and 21 mentions of the word ‘Christmas.’
‘Love’s Not Just for Christmas’ is available now on Spotify and was co-written by Steve – who has also penned and produced hits for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Westlife and Take That – and aims to bring festive joy to shoppers at intu shopping malls in the UK in the lead up to the festive period.
Steve said: "Over the years I have been lucky enough to have written and produced Christmas tracks and albums for a number of artists including Kylie, Susan Boyle and Harriet, who co wrote this song with me. Hopefully we’ve risen to the challenge and provided a song people will love not only this Christmas, but for every Christmas to come."
The full music video features the London Community Gospel Choir, and overnight it has been viewed over 13,000 times, and was even featured on ‘Good Morning America!’
‘Love’s Not Just For Christmas’ was co-written by Steve and Harriet Green, and will be performed by choirs at intu centres throughout December in an effort to bring festive joy to Christmas shoppers.
