Noel Gallagher to gift his Jaguar car to favourite child

Noel Gallagher is going to give his Jaguar 1967 Mark II car to one of his three children once he decides which one is "most worthy".
The 50-year-old rocker purchased the restored vintage vehicle for £110,000 at the height of Oasis’ success in the 1990s, even though he couldn’t drive.
Noel’s plan was to pass his test before the car got delivered to his home but he abandoned his lessons after just one trip out on the road and he still can’t drive now.
However, the ‘Holy Mountain’ singer kept the motor and he intends to hand over the keys to either his 17-year-old daughter Anais – his child with ex-wife Meg Matthews – or one of his two sons, Sonny, 10, and Donovan, seven, his kids with spouse Sara MacDonald.
In an interview on BBC Radio 2, he said: "I don’t drive, I had one driving lesson in the 90s and I was like, ‘Oh, it’s not for me.’ I bought a Mark II Jaguar, a reconditioned one, on the premise that by the time it was finished and delivered I’d have learnt how to drive. By the time it was delivered I’d actually forgotten I’d bought it! I’ve still got it, I’m going to give it to one of my children, whichever one I consider to be most worthy."
When asked by DJ Chris Evans which of his kids was the current favourite, he added: "Well 10 year old has started referring to me as bruv and not Dad. It’s alright, I’ve paid a lot of money for him not to talk like Ali G and yet he has. And my other son Sonny has better comic timing than Woody Allen. My daughter is about to take driving lessons so she’s in the driving seat. Although she’s about to take lessons but that’s not to say she’s going to be any good."
Noel was then asked to reveal his only experience behind the wheel and he admits it was awkward because his female teacher was a little star-struck to have a rock star in her car.
The guitarist explained: "I just had one lesson, it was out in Buckinghamshire, where I was living at the time and the woman drove me to meet her mum on a Slough council estate and then down a Slough cul-de-sac just as a comprehensive school was coming out at about four o’clock in the afternoon. Of course the car got surrounded by kids."
Noel – who has just released his third solo album ‘Who Built The Moon?’ – insists it doesn’t bother him that he can drive because he likes travelling with a chauffeur as it means he can just sit in the back and relax.
He said: "As soon as I got a chauffeur I was like, ‘Why do I need to drive for?’ I can just sit in the back and watch the world go by and look out the window and think about things."
