Sam Thompson didn’t treat Amelia Lily ‘very well’

Sam Thompson didn’t treat Amelia Lily "very well" when they were dating.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk struck up a relationship with the former ‘X Factor’ star over the summer after they fell for one another while in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house but, although things didn’t work out between them in the end, he feels terrible about the way he treated her and his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson this year.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the 25-year-old star: "I’m back up. I make no qualms about it, I didn’t treat Amelia Lily very well. I didn’t treat my ex-girlfriend very well hence why she dumped me.
"I had been down there on the floor for a bit and I think it’s time to pick myself up a bit. All my family and friends are like ‘dude just get on with it’ and everyone else is."
Sam was left heartbroken over the summer when Tiffany – whom he has dated on and off for three years – refused to rekindle their romance and he has admitted he’s had no desire to date anyone else because he was still grieving for his co-star.
He explained: "No I haven’t [dated anyone else]. I haven’t really wanted to.
"It was a three year thing. It’s hard to get straight back.
"I grieved for a very long time. I think now is the right to get back on it and have a different aspect of life because I’ve never done anything like this before."
However, all of that is about to change as Sam has signed up to the new series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’ and is hoping he finds the woman of his dream through the show.
He said: "Even though I have never done anything like this before in my life. So I don’t know how it’s going to go. It is daunting and some of the girls here are so attractive.
"People always go ‘you’re so energetic’ – it’s panic. ‘Oh you’re really confident’ – no I’m not. I’m actually super shy. It’s just panic. I just talk to people – I overload."
