Ruby Rose is getting her knuckle tattoos removed.
The 31-year-old actress-and-model is known for her love of body art and has 48 different inkings on her body, including the word love etched behind her left ear, a childlike drawing of a crown below her chest and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle on her right forearm.
But Ruby no longer wants the words "Just Love" written across her knuckles because they are too difficult to cover up for her film an TV roles.
The ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ star confirmed the simple inkings are on their way to being gone for good in a Twitter post after one of her 1.34 million followers messaged her to say they had noticed the tattoos were fading.
She replied: "Same same my fave tattoo. But it’s the only one that causes trouble with filming because the make up always comes off when you’re using your hands or washing them through out (sic) the day etc. (sic)"
Ruby also took to her Instagram story to share a clip of herself undergoing a tattoo removal session in which she is seen wearing protective goggles and a crop top that exposes her sleeve tattoos.
The footage is emblazoned with the post "Looks like I’m getting some weird vaginal rejuvenation but it’s just good old tattoo removal."
Ruby had the words needled onto her hands back in 2012 and the tattoo is believed to have been a statement relating to her non-stop campaigning for LGBTQ rights.
The actress came out to her mother at the age of just 12, but her parent was not shocked by her admission and told her she had known since she was six years old.
