Louis Walsh has hailed Simon Cowell as a workaholic.
The 58-year-old music mogul was absent from the first live episodes of ‘The X Factor’ over the weekend, after he fell down the stairs of his London home on Friday (27.10.17), which resulted in him being stretchered out of the property in a neck brace, and ordered by medical experts not to join the judging panel.
However, Louis – who has been a staple part of the judging panel for years – has confirmed Simon will be back next weekend because the businessman will not stop working, even though the Irish talent manager thinks his colleague needs to "slow down."
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (30.10.17), Louis said: "He’s fine. He’s a workaholic. He’s need to slow down.
"He goes home at night time after the shows and he’s onto people in America and he’s making records. He never stops working.
"He’s a workaholic. He loves what he does. Of course, he’s fine. I think he fell off his high heels. I’m sure he’s going to be back on the weekend. He loves his jobs."
Simon was replaced by Alesha Dixon on Sunday’s (29.10.17) episode of the popular talent contest, and Louis believes the brunette beauty was the "perfect stand in", as she has worked with Simon on the show earlier this year during the audition process, as well as on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
Speaking of the ‘Breathe Slow’ hitmaker, he said: "She is amazing. She’s so nice and she is a team player. She did some of the auditions and she is part of a girl group Mis-Teeq.
"Alesha had done more auditions and we love Alesha. She’s the perfect stand in."
