Sofia Vergara will spend her wedding anniversary with "a lot" of her family.
The Colombian actress and her husband Joe Manganiello will mark two years of marriage on November 22, the day before Thanksgiving, but will find it hard to "escape" for a romantic moment together because they are hosting her relatives for the holiday.
Asked her anniversary plans, she told ‘Extra’ presenter Mario Lopez: "We don’t know because it’s Thanksgiving week and a lot of my family’s traveling here to do Thanksgiving, so it’s going to be kind of hard to escape to a romantic anything so we’re still trying to figure out."
But the 45-year-old actress is currently spending a lot of time with her hunky husband as she is busy shooting ‘Stano’ – about a baseball player who returns to his career and love of his life after 17 years in jail – alongside the 40-year-old actor, and she is having a great time.
She said: "I have a small role. But, I really wanted to have that experience of knowing what it was to shoot with him… and it was amazing!
"You have long days at work, but then you don’t feel like you need to rush home. I was like, ‘Oh, it’s great, I can stay here all night… it was great… he was there… and it was fun."
The ‘Modern Family’ actress – who has 25-year-old son Manolo from a previous relationship – is even happy to indulge her husband’s passion for sport and likes going to watch his NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She said: "The good thing is that he doesn’t really, like, force me to go, but I like going to the actual game because the energy is amazing, I have fun."
However, she isn’t so keen on watching televised sport.
She added: "What I don’t really understand is watching it on TV for hours, so I kind of, like, go and sit with him for a little while but I lose interest or I, like, start shopping online. But I love that he’s so passionate about his team. It reminds me of Latin men with soccer… When I used to live in Colombia."
