Harvey Weinstein refusing help in rehab

Harvey Weinstein is reportedly "not listening" to anyone in rehab.
The 65-year-old disgraced producer announced earlier this month that he was trying to "get help" after sources claimed he was to be treated for sex addiction in a treatment centre following the allegations that he sexually harassed over 40 women in a 30-year period.
However, it seems his treatment isn’t going as well as he might have hoped, as sources claim the star – who has opted to attend out-patient sessions whilst staying in a luxury resort in Arizona, rather than check himself into a residential rehab facility – isn’t willing to accept the help on offer.
A source said: "He’s not listening to anyone. He agreed to treatment, but he doesn’t think he needs rehab."
Another source, meanwhile, insists Weinstein is determined to "deal with this issue head-on", and understands that he needs "help".
They added to People magazine: "His team set him up at a secure place to get him the help he needs – he knows and wants help."
Previously, it was claimed Weinstein – who was recently fired from his position as co-chairman of The Weinstein Company – would be checking into the highly-respected Meadows rehab centre in Wickenburg, and would be treated with an inpatient program.
Details of the previously planned program are not known, but Meadows does have a plan called the Gentle Path – a 45-day inpatient rehab for those with sex addiction issues – whereby patients will have equine therapy, arts therapy, meditation, yoga and counselling.
Meanwhile, despite seeking help for sex addiction, Weinstein vehemently denied claims published by the New York Times newspaper earlier this month that he had harassed at least eight female employees over a 30-year time span, and has vowed to take legal action.
He has, however, said he’s sorry for causing "pain" to some of his colleagues at times during his career, and admitted he is planning to make amends for his past mistakes.
