Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell reportedly had a blazing row before she made her debut as Big Brother’s new agony aunt in last night’s (07.06.17) show.
The 24-year-old actress blocked her on/off beau on her social networking sites after they had a huge argument over the heavily-inked hunk’s ex-girlfriend Savannah Kemplay, who branded their relationship "toxic" in a magazine interview and accused the brunette beauty of trapping her man, just before she left for her job on the spin-off ‘Bit On the Side’ in London.
A friend said: "Things were already quite tense between them, but Savannah’s comments have reopened a lot of old wounds. Steph is desperate for them to be a proper family – as is Jez – but she is struggling to deal with Jeremy’s past.
"Just when she thinks everything between them is OK, another skeleton comes falling out of the closet. She was devastated reading Savannah’s comments about her relationship, even though Jeremy told her they were totally ridiculous."
It’s thought their row stemmed from the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star’s insecurities because she doesn’t like the fact that Savannah and Jeremy, who dated for two years after meeting on ‘Beauty School Cop Out’, have so much history together – even though she and the Irish heartthrob have four-month-old son Caben-Albi together.
The insider explained to The Sun Online: "Savannah dated Jeremy for longer than Steph has even known him, and despite them having Caben-Albi together, she is still very insecure about his commitment to her."
Stephanie and Jeremy – who met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house in January 2016 – have certainly had a tough time over the past 18 months as their relationship was plagued with blazing rows until they finally called it quits in May last year.
The brunette beauty then found out she was pregnant, but Jeremy, 27, refused to believe the baby belonged to him and didn’t want to have anything to do with her.
The reality TV star reached out to the actress a few weeks after Caben was born and she later agreed to have a paternity test done on the tiny tot.
After learning that he’s Caben’s father, Jeremy decided to give things another go with Stephanie and the pair now live as a family at her home in Liverpool.
