Michelle Collins would like to return to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 55-year-old actress may be performing and producing a play at the moment but she’s adamant she wouldn’t turn down the chance to reprise her role as Stella Price in the soap, in which she portrayed the role from 2011 until 2014, in the near future.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Virgin BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday (14.05.17), she said: "I suppose never say never. I wouldn’t return at the moment but never say never. I am doing something for TV soon and it’s nice to do.
"I am also producing a film now which won the Berlin Short Film Festival award."
But the blonde beauty – who is producing and starring in ‘A Dark Knight in Dalston’ –
thinks doing theatre work is "physically harder" than TV parts.
She said: "Physically theatre is a lot harder. You cannot be late like on TV and you have to do your own makeup. It’s challenging. TV is great but possibly not as challenging as theatre but in an ideal world I would do a mix of both of them.
"I have all my fingers in lots of pies. It’s what you have to do these days."
And, although she’s got a lot going on work-wise, Michelle – who has daughter Maia Rose – has learnt how to juggle her professional life with her personal life.
She said: "I have just learned to do it. I have done it most of my life. It’s what I do.
"You just have to learn to do it."
