Stephen Bear believes Cheryl named her son Bear because she ‘fancies’ him

Stephen Bear believes Cheryl named her child Bear because she "fancies" him.
The former One Direction singer and his 33-year-old girlfriend welcomed a baby boy into the world in March, and it has been reported the couple have settled on the unusual moniker, which the 27-year-old reality television star thinks is a sign of the brunette beauty’s love for him.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online about the title, the tattooed hunk – who is currently dating former ‘Geordie Shore’ star Charlotte Crosby – quipped: "Maybe it’s because she fancies me.
"Jokes!"
And the ‘Just Tattoo Of Us’ co-host has credited the couple for their choice of name.
The ‘Ex On The Beach’ star added: "It’s a good name."
Stephen has also predicted the former Girls Aloud band member’s first child will be "good looking" and have an "amazing personality".
The lothario said: "The baby’s going to be good looking with an amazing personality.
"Congratulations to them both."
Meanwhile, it has been reported the ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker took one week to decide on the best name for her tiny tot because her and her 23-year-old beau wanted to "get to know" the little one first.
A source previously said: "Cheryl and Liam wanted to get to know their baby before deciding on a name.
"They spent over a week getting to know him first before deciding. They wanted to get to know him before they decided on the name.
"They didn’t have the name Bear before the birth. But they’d been thinking of a name since meeting him and they just felt it suited him.
"They love their little baby Bear Payne and are truly over the moon and loving being parents for the first time together."
