Ferne McCann wants to get a degree in art.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has just finished shooting a film across the pond, has carved out a career in presenting and is now keen to go back to school.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she explained: "My next thing is I want to get a degree in art. I see myself a bit like Emma Watson. She did the ‘Harry Potter’ thing and then she went back to school and that’s what I’d like to do."
However, for now, the 26-year-old beauty is tied up working on ‘This Morning’ and has admitted she’d jump at the chance to take over the main show if Holly Willoughby was to ever leave – although she doesn’t think she’d be able to do such a good job.
She said: "I love working there. I get to do such a variety of things. I’m going to Cannes to cover the film festival for them soon and I was filming with sharks last week. Who’s going to turn down a job like that? It would be massive shoes to fill. You see Rylan Clark-Neal sometimes stepping in and he does such a great job, so it can be done."
Ferne hasn’t had the easiest of times recently as she’s jumped dumped her boyfriend Arthur Collins after police made it known that they wanted to speak to him in relation to the shocking acid attack that took place at Mangle in Dalston, east London, last week.
Upon hearing that officers wanted to speak to Arthur about the attack, which saw footballer Jamie O’Hara’s cousin injured and a model suffer chemical burns to her arms, Ferne begged Arthur to "co-operate" with investigators.
A representative for the star said in a statement: "Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him. Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries. She was not with Arthur on Sunday night; was not at Mangle; and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.
"As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately."
