Ferne McCann has dumped her boyfriend.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has called time on her short-live romance with Arthur Collins after he went on the run when police put out an appeal to speak to him following the shocking acid attack, which injured 20 people, at the nightclub Mangle in Dalston, east London, over the weekend.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She is sending a clear message that their relationship is over – it’s like she’s wiping him from her life by erasing any trace of their time together. The past few days have been devastating, and this is a way of showing Arthur is no longer part of her life."
The 26-year-old beauty sparked rumours she had disowned her beau yesterday (19.04.17) when she deleted all traces of him from her social media sites after the appeal was put out.
Upon hearing that officers wanted to speak to Arthur about the attack, which saw footballer Jamie O’Hara’s cousin injured and a model suffer chemical burns to her arms, Ferne begged Arthur to "co-operate" with investigators.
A representative for the star said in a statement yesterday morning: "Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him. Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries. She was not with Arthur on Sunday night; was not at Mangle; and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.
"As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately."
Police raided Arthur’s £1 million home in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, yesterday and reportedly found cannabis, drug-farming equipment and illegal firearms.
A 52-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis but were later released from police custody under investigation.
