Adam Thomas won’t do reality TV

Adam Thomas is adamant he won’t do any more reality TV shows.
The ‘Emmerdale’ hunk came third when he competed on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ late last year but he’s admitted he’s not interested in signing up to any more programmes because he wants to focus on his acting career for the time being.
Speaking to Star magazine, he said: "No. I’m not going to do any more reality shows."
It was no secret that the 28-year-old actor was terrified of spiders when he took part in the jungle-based show a few months ago and now his two-year-old son Teddy, whom he has with his partner Caroline Daly, keeps teasing him about his creepy phobia.
He explained to the publication: "He recognised me when I was on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’. Every time he sees a spider now, he runs after me and chases me and shouts: ‘Spider!’ then we both go screaming. The problem is I’m never really on the TV so he doesn’t say it that much."
Last year’s series was the first time the camp mates actually got on and, although it’s known that they regularly speak via their Whatsapp group, Adam has joked that he’s no longer friends with his co-star – especially Joel Dommett – because they ignore him.
He teased as he burst into a fit of giggles: "We don’t speak any more. We’ve all fallen out. Joel Dommett doesn’t return my calls."
Meanwhile, Adam isn’t the only member of his family who is living life in the spotlight as his brothers Ryan and Scott also have a huge following on social media.
But he’s adamant there’s never any competition between the three of them.
He added: "None of us get competitive. I’m just proud of them both."
