Megan McKenna is ‘wasting away’ following split from Pete Wicks

Megan McKenna is "wasting away" following her split from ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks.
The 24-year-old ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ called time on her relationship with the tattooed hunk last month after one year of dating, but the "anxiety" and "stress" the brunette beauty endured during the 12 months and in the weeks following their break-up has left her looking worst for wear, according to her honest mother Tanya.
Speaking to the 28-year-old reality television star on the ITVBe programme, which was aired on Wednesday evening (05.04.17), about her welfare, the McKenna matriarch said: "You can’t have a relationship like that, do you know what I mean?
"You can’t physically continue, I look at Megan, she’s like wasting away before my eyes, the anxiety and the stress of being in a relationship where she’s so unhappy."
Although Tanya thinks it is a "sad situation" the pair have gone their separate ways, she doesn’t think it should be a "shock" to either of them because they have had problems with their relationship "for months".
She said: "It’s a sad situation, but it can’t be a shock to you though Pete, it’s been going on for months hasn’t it?"
However, the French Bulldog fanatic only wants what is best for the former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestant and hopes she will be "happy".
The dark-haired hunk said: "I want her to be happy so you know, what’s done is done now."
Tanya urged Pete and her daughter to try to be civil to one another, as they will no doubt bump into one another around the Essex area, and whilst filming the show.
However, the duo have not followed Tanya’s advice as they were embroiled in a malicious spat on the street on Tuesday (04.04.17), and ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ crew were forced to pull Megan and Pete apart during their explosive row.
