The Kooks Luke Pritchard’s advice for One Direction

The Kooks’ Luke Pritchard has advised One Direction to get back together no matter what.
The ‘Naive’ hitmaker went through turbulent times with his bandmate Hugh Harris, but he says nothing was worth breaking up the whole group up, and as long as ‘History’ hitmakers – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – "love" what they are doing he sees no reason for them to call it a day.
The 32-year-old rocker told the Daily Star newspaper: "It is tough, perseverance and loving what you do gets you through.
"There were times when me and Hugh Harris couldn’t even be in a room together but even then there was never a though of: ‘Well let’s finish it.’
"As long as it’s not about a girl or money you can usually get through it."
The Kooks – completed by Peter Denton and Alexis Nunez – last released new music in 2015, and have announced brand new single ‘Be Who You Are’ and a greatest hits LP titled ‘Best Of… So Far’, which is out on May 19th via Virgin EMI Records.
Speaking about their journey to now, Luke said: "It’s been the greatest pleasure to work, travel, fight, hate and love the best and most talented people I’ve met in my life. It’s the greatest job in the world and we don’t intend to stop any time soon."
