Josh Gad stole his wedding ring from a film set.
The 35-year-old actor – who married Ida Darvish, the mother of his two daughters, in 2008 – had his original piece of martial jewellery stolen while working on ‘The Wedding Ringer’ so swiped a replacement from the props department of the 2015 movie.
Asked if he has ever stolen from a set, he said: "Yes, the ring on my finger right now.
"I had my ring stolen – my wedding ring, stolen – on the set of ‘The Wedding Ringer’. It’s ridiculous.
"So I said, ‘Screw it, I’m taking the damn rings’ – which is probably worth nothing.
"I told them after and they were like, ‘Oh, of course.’ "
The ‘Beauty and the Beast’ star always likes to take his own music for his trailer, but admits he has the tastes of a "16-year-old girl".
He told Total Film magazine: "I always like to have a book and my music.
"Right now, I’m reading the actual Agatha Christie novel of ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ and digging for clues in that.
"I have very eclectic musical tastes. I really have the sensibility of a 16-year-old girl.
"I love pop music. I love Drake. I love Katy Perry. I love Taylor Swift. I just love fun music that’s kind of empty calories in the morning."
Josh adored working on ‘Beauty and the Beast’ because it was a fun shoot and he was able to take his kids on set.
He said: "I have to say ‘Beauty and the Beast’ [has been the best experience] because I was able to bring my family with me.
"Seeing my kids walk on those sets, it’s crazy."
"And also, the opportunity to approach it like I would a theatrical event was really fun. For Dan [Stevens], Emma [Watson] and Luke [Evans] and I to do those dance rehearsals and singing rehearsals, to get in that space – my God, that’s like, ‘Pinch yourself’."
