The 41-year-old Australian singer and ‘Get Busy’ hitmaker beat off stiff competition from the list of 20 artists including Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’, Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s ‘This is What You Came For’ and Beyoncé’s ‘Sorry’.
Meanwhile, Jonas Blue had two tracks on the list, ‘Perfect Strangers’ and ‘Fast Car’.
Talking about his successful year, which saw him gain over a billion streams, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It has been a bit mad, a billion streams now, it’s been nuts."
Asked what has been the highlight, he added: "probably that. Doing that and being able to have this amazing platform where I can just share all my music around the world and do what I love."
Elsewhere on the list is Coldplay and Beyoncé’s ‘Hymn For The Weekend’, DNCE’s ‘Cake By The Ocean’, Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work from Home’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’.
