Chris Tarrant reveals hie Kerry Katona fear

Chris Tarrant dreads being "stuck on an island with Kerry Katona".
The 70-year-old TV presenter is currently taking a break from the spotlight, but has revealed he would not accept an offer to star on a reality show because he does not want to be marooned with the Atomic Kitten singer.
Asked if there were any current shows he wishes he was presenting, Chris replied: "No, I worked like a dog for a long time and I don’t want to do any more. I don’t want to stop yet. I’m having a break and we’ll see what’s around next year.
"If there’s something I want to do I’ll do it and if not I won’t. I get asked to do all the reality TV shows but I don’t want to be stuck on an island with Kerry Katona."
Chris has also rubbished the idea of returning to ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’, which aired for 15 seasons on ITV, saying he is glad to have walked away from the programme at the right time.
He told the Metro newspaper: "We’d all decided we’d had enough. People have shouted ‘Phone a friend’ at me three times this morning. I’ve always left things when I’ve had a good time and it’s time to move on."
In more recent years, Chris has been presenting ‘Extreme Railway Journeys’, which sees him explore the most dangerous railway lines, and he has relished working outdoors.
He said: "When we started I was still doing ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ and I thought it would be nice to get outside.
"I’ve been stuck in radio and TV studios for 20 years. We’ve now done 168,212 miles since we started, which is four times around the world."
