Lucy Watson doesn’t regret quitting ‘Made in Chelsea’ – yet.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star – who left the show over the summer following five years on screen – hopes her departure from the series doesn’t spell the end of her television career but, at the moment, she’s enjoying her relationship with James Dunmore away from the spotlight and doesn’t particularly miss the cameras.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the Pride of Sport Awards in London on Wednesday (07.12.16), she said: "I would love to do more TV – I’m having meetings and stuff and seeing what’s out there. I am definitely missing it a little bit. I wouldn’t want this to the end of my TV career. It’s quite nice not having my relationship on screen any more, especially not dealing with other people’s opinions, it’s annoying. It’s nice now. No I don’t miss the cameras, not yet!"
The couple met on the E4 show last year but have been forced to deal with scrutiny from their fellow cast mates and viewers from the very beginning of their relationship.
James said: "Well, from the word go we met on the show and always having someone else’s opinion, you do try and ignore it but it’s always there in the back of your mind."
And, with the negatives in mind, the 26-year-old beauty and her hunky beau, 25, are adamant they don’t want their own spin-off show any time soon.
Lucy said: "I’m not sure about a spin-off [with us]. Our whole relationship has been on TV, it’s quite stressful."
