Topless photographs of Maisie Williams have leaked online.
The 19-year-old actress, who is best known for her starring role in the fantasy drama series ‘Game of Thrones’, intended to share some sexy photos with her inner circle over Facebook, but the images instead ended up popping up on Reddit.
A spokesperson told the New York Post newspaper: "The images online were shared from Maisie’s personal social media account. The images are not explicit in nature, but pictures of Maisie and close friends at a spa at a recent visit in Japan."
The representative declined to explain how the images – which have caused a buzz online – ended up on Reddit, or whether Maisie will change her approach to her activity on social media going forwards.
Earlier this year, Maisie revealed she’s never been interested in wearing revealing clothes because she isn’t particularly curvy.
She said: "I feel like I’ve always had a good sense of what I wanted to look like.
"I’ve never wanted to look older. I’ve never wanted to wear revealing dresses. I don’t have it, so I don’t want to flaunt it."
The teenager also admitted she has got people "fooled" into thinking she is much more wise than she really is.
She said: "People always say [I’m] really wise, but that scares me because sometimes I do things like this – I’ve got ‘f**k’ written on my fingers because I did drinking games with my friends last night.
"There’s nothing wise about me. Sometimes I’m like, ‘I’ve got so many people fooled.’"
But, oddly, Maisie isn’t as confident as she was when she began her career on ‘Game of Thrones’ at the age of 12.
She previously shared: "I struggled with the hours when I was young. It was an adult show. I had to fit into a much bigger wheel.
"But being 12 I didn’t find any of that daunting at all. The naivety of it… I look at all the conversations I used to strike up with actors like Sean [Bean] and people on set and I think, ‘How did I used to do that?’
"I wasn’t fazed by anything at all. And I do want to grasp some of that back because I have lost a bit of it. In this industry, it’s easy to lose your confidence."
