Willow Smith releases new short album Mellifluous

Willow Smith has released a new short album.
The 16-year-old singer and songwriter – who is the daughter of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith – has dropped three songs on her SoundCloud account under the album title ‘Mellifluous’, which features new tracks ‘Cave Wall’, ‘Little Shard’ and ‘Need to Know.’.
The brunette beauty unveiled her debut pop single ‘Whip My Hair’ in 2010, but has channelled a more spiritual theme with her latest releases, which she has tagged as "Transcendental lullaby" on the music-sharing site.
The star also shared the news of her music on social media by posting a picture of the album cover, which features a linear sketch of her on the front, to her Instagram account.
She captioned the post: "<Feast Your Ears> // original guitar songs by me for the light eaters ART BY THE GODDESS @_.salmon._ // on SoundCloud now // Mellifluous = sweet sounding•smoothly flowing (sic)."
And the star has teased she may be working on new music, as she shared what appears to be lyrics to a potential track totled ‘Celebrate Existence’.
Alongside a comic picture of two being dancing, she wrote: "Celebrate Existence // <By – WILOUGH> // everything sings / everything is alive / we are just here to be grateful for it / enjoy it to the fullest / and learn from it (sic)."
Meanwhile, the ‘I Am Legend’ actress feels like she is leading her "second-to-last life", although she wants "more" from her current existence so she can have as many experiences as possible before moving on to "another dimension".
Speaking previously, she said: "I feel like I’ve lived so many lives on this earth. I feel like this is, if not my last life, my second-to-last life.
"I look around and feel a familiarity and a nagging sense of ‘I want more’. I want more of life, I want more understanding, I want more of this feeling of connectedness.
"Then I’m like, ‘You know what, let me live this life out to the fullest so I can go to another dimension and have a completely new life cycle. That’s really my goals right now, that’s my goals."
