Lucy Spraggan is set to release her new album in January 2017.
The 25-year-old musician – who competed on the ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 but dropped out during the live shows due to illness- has revealed she will launch her fourth studio album titled ‘I Hope you Don’t Mind Me Writing…’ on January 27 next year, which she will release through her record label CTRL Records.
And the singer has admitted the creative process was very spontaneous because she never "planned" the tracks in the forthcoming LP and simply wrote down what she was feeling.
Speaking about the upcoming compilation, the brunette beauty – who married her girlfriend Georgina Gordon earlier this year – said: "I didn’t plan anything. I just wrote how I felt."
And Spraggan teamed up with producer Jon Maguire, who formerly worked at Lilygreen and Maguire, as well as Metrpolis’ John Davies on ‘I Hope You Don’t Mine Me Writing…’.
The album is set to feature 13 tracks, including ‘Dear You’, which Spraggan released earlier this year, ‘Hey William’ and ‘Modern Day Frankenstein’.
And Spraggan has shown no signs of slowing down as she is set to take to the stage as part of her two week UK tour in March next year.
