Meghan Markle’s half-brother has asked Prince Harry to "take good care" of his sister.
The ‘Suits’ star’s sibling Thomas is pleased she is dating the 32-year-old royal and has invited him to come over to North America to spend time with her family if he intends to pop the question to the brunette beauty.
He said: "I have to be the older brother and say, ‘Take good care of her.’
"She needed someone who could keep up with her.
"I think Harry fits the bill. If he does want to marry her, he’d have to come over and hang with us for a little bit."
Thomas admitted Harry couldn’t have asked for a "more proper" person to date than the actress.
He said: "You couldn’t ask for a more proper, well-spoken person than Meg.
"She has everything a good woman should have."
Thomas also played down recent comments made by her half-sister Samantha Grant, who slammed Meghan as a "shallow social climber" who always wanted to be a princess and is "narcissistic and selfish".
He added to Grazia magazine: "Samantha hasn’t seen her in 30 years. What she said wasn’t nice.
"Why would anybody want to try and ruin something for someone who has achieved so much, and who is in love?"
Samantha recently said: "The royal family would be appalled by what she’s done to her own family. The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry, he wouldn’t want to date her anymore because it puts her in a bad public light.
"I certainly don’t think Harry or his family would want to associate with her afterwards."
