Barry Gibb wants Justin Timberlake collaboration

Barry Gibb wants to work with Justin Timberlake.
The 70-year-old Bee Gees legend has expressed his desire to make music with the ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ hitmaker as he has always felt like he would hit it off in the studio with the 35-year-old pop star.
He said: "I’d love to work with Justin Timberlake. That’s always been a thing in my head because I think we would click. You gravitate towards people that are creative and you hope that something good comes from it."
Earlier this year, Barry joined Coldplay on stage at Glastonbury Festival and the ‘Stayin’ Alive’ hitmaker admits he didn’t think it was "realistic" at first because he is not a popular artist nowadays, but frontman Chris Martin, 39, persuaded him.
Of the surreal experience, he told ABC News: "[Coldplay’s] Chris Martin called me up and asked me to do it and … it didn’t sound realistic to me because they’re huge and this is their time. But he didn’t see it that way. He said, ‘No, no, you’ve got to do this.’"
Barry is the sole surviving member of the Bee Gees, as his youngest sibling Andy died in 1988 aged 30, while twin siblings Maurice and Robin passed away in 2003 and 2012 respectively, and has admitted it was hard to get back into writing music on his own, but his wife Linda encouraged him to get back to work.
He said: "For a long time, I didn’t want to. For at least six months after Rob passed, that was all of my brothers, Andy at 30, Maurice at 53 and Rob at 63.
"It was an exhausting time, not just for, but for mum and Lesley, my older sister, who still lives in Australia.
"So, yeah, I didn’t want to for a long time. And then my wife told me to get off my backside."
Barry recently released ‘In The Now’, his first solo album in 32 years.
