Anna Camp returns to Pitch Perfect 3

Anna Camp is set to return for ‘Pitch Perfect 3’.
The 34-year-old actress has agreed to reprise her role as Aubrey Posen – the part she portrayed in the first and second film – in the forthcoming third installment of the romantic music movie franchise, according to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’.
The blonde bombshell was reportedly persuaded to take part in the next film after she found out leads Anna Kendrick and comedian Rebel Wilson, who play Beca Mitchell and Fat Amy, respectively, had recently agreed to reprise their roles.
Brittany Snow and Hailee Steinfeld – who portray Chloe Beale and Emily Junk – will also return to the movie to ensure Barden University’s all-girl cappella group, The Bellas, keep hold of their title as they go head-to-head with another school.
However, all other details on the plot are being kept tightly under wraps for now.
The third installment is set to hit cinema screens on December 22 next year and will be produced by Paul Brooks of Gold Circle Entertainment and Max Handelman and Elizabeth Banks of Brownstone Productions, while Vice president of production Sara Scott will oversee the project for Universal Studios.
Trish Sie – known for her work on the fifth installment of ‘Step Up All In’ – will direct the forthcoming movie based on a script penned by Kay Cannon after she took over from Banks, who stepped down from the role earlier this year.
The new directorial signing has meant that the movie has been delayed by five months as it was initially scheduled for release in July next year.
Meanwhile, although Camp is gearing up to reprise her role for the movie, she will next be seen in Amazon’s ‘Good Girls Revolt’ and was most recently seen in ‘Cafe Society’.
