Freddy Parker spent hours in Nicole Scherzinger’s dressing room after X Factor exit

Freddy Parker spent hours in his mentor Nicole Scherzinger’s dressing room after he was given the boot ‘The X Factor’ last weekend.
The 18-year-old aspiring singer – who was the first of the brunette beauty’s Boys category to be eliminated from the competition – was devastated when he was axed from the show on Sunday (16.10.16) but left with a smile on his face after the Pussycat Dolls star discussed his talent and gave him some encouragement.
He explained: "After I was voted off, I went into Nicole’s dressing room after and spoke to her for ages. She has been so supportive about it. She is amazing."
Although the teenager has waved goodbye to the programme, he’s hoping he will stay in touch with the 38-year-old singer as she’s taken his contact details.
Speaking to The Metro Online, he explained: "She got my email address and my number so hopefully we will stay in touch.
"Her best advice for me was to carry on writing loads of music. She was like: "Write, write, write, write! That’s how to do it and get all your stuff out there."
Freddy’s heart sunk yesterday evening when he found out he was in the bottom three for the second time in two weeks and would have to take part in the sing off.
The wannabe star went up against Sharon Osbourne’s Saara Aalto but the judges failed to come to a decision and it was pushed to Deadlock, which sees things revert to the public vote and the person with the least saves is eliminated from the show.
He explained: "I think I was voted out as I don’t think I connected with the audience. I was exploring myself as an artist and what I could do on the show.
"But I don’t regret it! I’m glad I risked and changed it up a bit. But Deadlock is kind of the worst way to go, really. It’s sad for me I was the person least voted for by the public. But it’s fine. I’ll get over it. I can deal with it."
