Fleur East is back in the studio working on new material.
The 28-year-old ‘X Factor’ 2014 runner-up is busy recording new tracks as follow-up to her debut album ‘Love, Sax and Flashbacks’, which featured the hit single ‘Sax’.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the launch of Fright Night at Thorpe Park Resort, Fleur said: "You are going to hear it [new music] when I’m ready. I’m literally just in the studio working on it, when I come back I want to make sure everything is perfect.
"It’s definitely still going to be up-tempo, high energy, something I can really perform to, feel-good music for sure. It’s naturally taken an evolution so it’s sounding more modern but still with a bit of a throwback vibe."
However, Fleur remained tight-lipped about a potential release date for the new record.
She explained: "Everything needs to be right before I come back – I don’t want to just rush it."
The singer also remained coy when asked whether there would be some surprise collaborations on the album.
Fleur said: "Possibly, possibly, I’m not going to reveal anything – I just want it to come out with a bang."
