Christine Lampard to front spooky celebrity show

Christine Lampard is to front a spooky new live show.
The 37-year-old presenter is teaming up with former ‘Xtra Factor’ host Matt Richardson for ‘Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live’, which will feature different celebrities checking into the mystery location every night for five nights.
Viewers will be able to vote for the star guests to take on a number of tasks in their spooky surroundings.
Christine said of the show: "Five nights in the UK’s spookiest hotel with some great celebrity guests over Halloween – what could possibly go wrong?!"
The series will air on W from Thursday 27 October at 9pm and run on consecutive nights, with the final broadcast on Halloween (31.10.16).
And UKTV bosses have promised the show will be "gripping" viewing.
UKTV executive producer, Helen Nightingale, said: "This is a spooky addition to W’s growing slate of original content – an entertainment event set in the darkest of places, perfect for Halloween. With a whole host of celebrities to frighten, W viewers will be gripped by the unfolding nightly action."
In addition to the main show, Matt will also front ‘Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live: Do Not Disturb’ nightly at 6pm from 28 October, while presenter Jamie East will also be on hand to update viewers live from an interactive hub.
The celebrity guests haven’t yet been revealed.
‘Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live’ is the second announcement about Christine’s work in less than a month, as it was recently revealed she is reteaming with her ‘The One Show’ co-host Adrian Chiles for a new show.
The pair will revisit their former on-screen partnership when they team up for a new three-part series about "the nature of friendship".
A BBC spokesperson said: "We’re pleased to confirm that Adrian and Christine have agreed to join forces again for a new BBC Northern Ireland production.
"While we can’t say much about this project at the moment, we’re obviously excited to have both on board."
Adrian and Christine worked on ‘The One Show’ together from 2006 to 2010 but they quit the BBC after being offered a lucrative deal to present ‘Daybreak’ on rival channel ITV.
However, the show was axed within months due to poor ratings and replaced by ‘Good Morning Britain’.
