Jessica Alba picks fun movies

Jessica Alba "just wants to have fun" with the movies she picks.
The ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ actress used to take a more methodical approach to choosing what films she wanted to star in but now opts for ones which she thinks will be "fun" to shoot.
She said: "It’s different because, it’s more like, ‘Do you wanna go to Thailand and do a fun action movie with Jason Statham for 10 days?’ And I was like, ‘Cool, yeah, sure!’ But it’s less dramatic. I just did it and it’s just not as serious for me.
"Before, I was so methodical – I wanted to make sure that it was going to be on a global scale, any movie that I did, and that it was going to be a tentpole franchise and all this stuff. And now, I just want to have fun!"
And the 35-year-old actress – who has Honor, eight, and Haven, five, with her husband Cash Warren – also admitted she dislikes how she has no "control of her destiny" in Hollywood.
Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she added: "I weirdly always approached Hollywood like a business, but now I have an actual business to put that mindset to.
"For me as an actress in Hollywood I was never in control of the marketing, the distribution, the final cut, the edit and so so much of my life was in someone else’s hands. So it was quite frustrating because I like to control things, so to try and control my destiny as an actress … I wasn’t able to."
