Eva Mendes doesn’t care about baby weight

Eva Mendes has not given herself a time frame to lose her baby weight because she is in a very happy "mommy place" right now.
The 42-year-old actress gave birth to her and her partner Ryan Gosling’s second daughter Amada four months ago and right now she is just completely focused on caring for the tot and the couple’s other child Esmerelda, two.
Eva is in no rush to get back her pre-pregnancy figure and at the moment she doesn’t care if she never does.
Speaking to ‘Extra’, she shared: "I just don’t put a lot of pressure on myself. I try to take care of myself as far as eating right and things like that, but especially so soon after a baby, I’m like, ‘It’s OK, I don’t need to fit into my jeans for a while, I’m all right.’ Maybe if I never fit into my original jeans, it’s fine, it’s all good."
Eva couldn’t happier right now and says her daughters have enriched her life beyond anything she could have ever comprehended.
She said: "They really are little angels. The baby’s four months and she’s just the best. It’s amazing – it really is. I’m in that mommy happy place."
The ‘Fast Five’ star was speaking before debuting her New York and Company Eva Mendes Collection at the Academy Mansion as part of New York Fashion Week.
And Eva revealed her inspiration for the clothing line is "the modern woman who wears many hats".
She stated: "The inspiration for this is, like, what I’m doing at home all the time – I’m always putting my hair up in a tie and then I wanted to personalise the show and give it something that was specifically me and something I love, so I incorporated into the show."
Revealing her hair ties are her favourite item in the range, she added: "Fall, winter, spring – it’s such an easy thing to do when you’re having a bad hair day."
