The Backstreet Boys want Meghan Trainor to collaborate with them again.
The boy-band, which is made up of A.J. mcLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson, are desperate for the ‘No’ hitmaker to duet with them for a second time and write a few songs for the band because she is an "amazing" writer.
This news comes after the group and the soloist joined forces on the American TV show called ‘Greatest Hits’ where they did a rendition of the group’s 1999 hit ‘I Want It That Way’.
Speaking to Inquisitr.com about working with the brunette beauty on a track in the future, McLean said: "She’s such an amazing writer, so we’re working it out and hopefully when her schedule permits, we can do it."
However, it seems the collaboration is fast approaching as McLean has revealed the 22-year-old musician – who started her tour last month – accepted his own invitation to join her on stage during her concerts, and to sit down and pen a few singles together on their days off.
McLean explained: "She’s totally into it!"
Meanwhile, Trainor has revealed it was a dream come true for her to perform with the backstreet Boys in July because singer Brian, 41, was her "pop star crush" when she was young and both her and her mum planned on marrying him.
Speaking previously she said: "Singing with the Backstreet Boys is definitely a bucket-list moment.
"My first band that I loved was the Backstreet Boys. My pop star crush was Brian. I was gonna marry him and my mum was gonna marry him. That was our husband. The day he got married, I remember we were like, ‘Nooo!’"
The ‘Everybody’ hitmakers are currently in the studio working on their eagerly-anticipated 10th studio album and recently recorded a song with country music duo Florida Georgia Line.
