Stephanie Davis fighting with Jeremy McConnell over pet pooch

Stephanie Davis is locked in a bitter custody battle with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell over their pet pooch.
The 23-year-old actress handed little Simba over to the Irish hunk when she discovered she was pregnant with her first child but she’s devastated she hasn’t seen the four-legged creature since and is desperate for some photos.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jeremy took custody of the dog as it’d have been too much for Steph to look after him and a newborn baby. She’s not received a single picture or update since handing him over. She’s sad, misses him terribly and has no idea how he’s doing."
The former lovers – who began dating earlier this year following their stint in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house – bought Simba in April in a bid to save their fraught relationship but, after they split, Stephanie moved back to Liverpool and left her furry friend in Ireland with Jeremy.
Meanwhile, a dog isn’t the only thing the former couple have between them as they are also expecting a baby together.
However, the 26-year-old heavily-inked hunk refuses to believe he’s the father until the unborn tot has had a DNA test.
And it seems the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star will play Jeremy at his own game when the little one is born early next year as she doesn’t want the heartthrob anywhere near their baby until he’s cleaned up his act and proved he can be a decent dad.
She said recently: "I think Jeremy has made it very, very clear where he stands in this situation. He’s completely neglected his own flesh and blood.
"He doesn’t want to believe it and I think if Jeremy is ever to be around our baby, he’d have to prove himself to me and to his family that he’ll get the help he needs because I’d never put my baby around someone like that."
