99 Souls reach out to Bruno Mars

99 Souls want to work with Bruno Mars.
The house act – comprising producers Soul and Jo – have a huge number of collaborations under their belt already, but the ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker is at the top of their list to feature on their upcoming new album.
Soul revealed: "The ideal [collaborator] would be Bruno Mars but that’s a long shot but we’ll have to see.
"We’ve been working with Craig David, CeeLo, Marsha Ambrosius, Becky Hill.
"We met Miguel yesterday he’s on the wish-list we’ll have to see if we can do anything with him."
However, the pair need to get their songs together first before they figure out who would be the right fit.
Soul added: "We’ve got a big wish-list but we’ll get the songs right first before getting the artist on it but we’ve been working with a lot of great writers as well like Digital Farm Animals, Mike Kintish, a lot of great writers as well."
And the pair are keen to get some "big soul voices" involved with their music.
Soul said: "Kanye is up there, he’s right at the top. Big soul voices like Alicia Keys, Sam Smith, Maxwell but they’re definitely up there!"
‘The Girl is Mine’ remixers are hard at work original material and have bowed to bring personal experience into their music.
He continued: "Our album is all original material but that will be 2017.
"We try to bring personal experience into it, the name ’99 Souls’ comes from the 99 per cent so we want to have social commentary in our music as well so we don’t want to be too much sort of introvert and looking in, we want to talk about what’s going on not just ourselves so we definitely want to have some social commentary in that."
