Daisy Lowe has signed up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 26-year-old model is set to show off her dancing skills on the new series of the BBC One show and producers are hoping her popularity will bring in plenty of viewings and will "attract" a younger audience.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Daisy is a great signing – she’s one of the girls of the moment.
"Producers hope she will help give the show a new lease of life and attract some new younger viewers.
"She’s part of that trendy young Primrose Hill set and is quite edgy compared to a lot of those who normally sign up."
It’s believed the brunette beauty – who recently ended her six-month relationship with Thomas Cohen – has already been training for the show, which returns to screens in September, and she’s being tipped as a favourite to win.
The insider said: "The show doesn’t start for over two months but she has already started practising. She’s taking it really seriously and wants to do well.
"Daisy is going to be a hot favourite right from the start.
"She’s stunning, cool and has proved she has some moves on the dance floor."
Meanwhile, Daisy has reportedly split from her boyfriend Darius Campbell after just a month together and is hoping she’ll find love on ‘Strictly’, which is notorious for sparking romance amongst the celebrities and the professional dancers.
The source added: "Strictly is a hotbed for romance so she could be in luck."
