Natalie Anderson ‘can’t’ watch Emmerdale

Natalie Anderson "can’t watch" ‘Emmerdale’ anymore.
The 34-year-old actress – who quit the hit soap last year after a five-year run on the show – has admitted she doesn’t watch the long-standing series "as much" as she would like because she is too busy reading a bed time story to her three-year-old son Freddy.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz about her evening routine at this year’s Caudwell Children Butterfly Ball, which was held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday (22.06.16), the brunette beauty said: "Well I can’t watch it as much as I’d like to because Freddy goes to bed at like seven o’clock and we’re reading with him at the moment so it’s on at that time when we’re trying to get through the stories and reading."
And Natalie doesn’t get any inside gossip about the ongoings of the programmed since she has left.
She said: "You know more than me! I’ve not heard anything at all because I’m not in it anymore, so I don’t get to hear anything at all."
And the mother-of-one – who married her husband James Shepherd in 2008 – has revealed she doesn’t plan to reprise her role as Alicia Metcalfe any time soon because she is enjoying spending the extra time with her family.
Speaking about a potential comeback, she explained: "Not in the near future because I’m just loving what I’m doing at the moment, I’m loving having the time with Fred, Fred goes to school in September, so at the moment I’m being very much picky about what I’m taking and what jobs I’m doing and I just couldn’t commit to that full time soap schedule."
However, Natalie has not entirely ruled out a return to the Yorkshire Dales later down the line.
She said: "Hopefully somewhere down the line but at the moment for where I’m at it’s not in the near future."
