Victoria Beckham thinks David Beckham is the "world’s best daddy".
The 41-year-old fashion designer paid tribute to her spouse – with whom she has sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 11, and daughter Harper, four – on Father’s Day on Sunday (19.06.16), sending love on behalf of their whole family.
Alongside a picture of the hunky retired sportsman – on which she had emblazoned the words "world’s best daddy" – she wrote: "Happy Father’s Day @davidbeckham X We love u!!! X Kisses X VB (sic)"
The couple’s oldest son shared a throwback black and white photo of himself and his dad as he sent his own Father’s Day message.
Along with a heart emoji, he simply wrote: "Happy Father’s Day."
Meanwhile, David found the time to pay tribute to his own father, Ted Beckham.
Sharing an old picture of himself as a baby in his father’s arms, he wrote: "Happy Father’s Day dad… Support and love is what children need and deserve , I was lucky to have both… To all the fathers around the world happy Father’s Day X (sic)"
The 40-year-old sportsman recently admitted his work as a UNICEF Ambassador is his main priority, rather than obtaining a managerial role in soccer.
He said: "People say to me, ‘Why don’t you want to be a manager, an England manager?’
"At the moment my passion is UNICEF. That’s what drives me. Being manager of a team, I’m just not passionate about that."
"Even before I had children I always really cared about children and their future. So when Kofi Annan contacted me to become an ambassador it was a proud moment.
"There are places UNICEF can’t get to speak to a Prime Minister or king. Luckily, sometimes all it takes is a king’s or PM’s son who wants a selfie – and it opens the door."
