Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent are buying a US home together.
The model-and-actress already co-owns an apartment in Paris with her singer girlfriend – who she has been dating since December 2014 – but with her acting career going from strength to strength, she and her partner, whose real name is Annie Clark, are splurging on a Los Angeles base.
A source told Grazia magazine: "Cara has been spending more and more time in LA. While they were making their relationship work, with Cara staying with Annie at her New York home as much as possible, it’s hard.
"The original plan was to be in Paris, but they decided they needed to lay down roots in LA too.
"While Annie will keep her home in the East Village, she’s agreed to move to Malibu with Cara. "She grew up in Texas and misses the heat, so she’s excited to return to warmer temperatures."
The couple are looking for a quiet retreat and are said to have their hearts set on a £1.6 million, 3,000 sq ft, property in the Malibu mountains.
The source added: "They’ve agreed they don’t want to be in the city, they want a home away from the hustle and bustle, so they’re looking in Malibu and Pacific Palisades.
"They’re hoping to buy soon. With Cara’s career going from strength to strength, it seems this may be a permanent base for them."
Cara, 23, recently insisted her relationship with the 33-year-old singer is not "just a phase".
She said: "My sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am."
And the ‘Paper Towns’ star – who has previously been romantically linked with Michelle Rodriguez and Harry Styles – believes she is a better actress because of her relationship with her girlfriend.
She explained: "Being in love helps, you know? If you’re in love with someone, you can be with them like no one else is in the room. Acting is like that. It’s like taking that feeling and turning it on so nothing else matters when you’re looking in another actor’s face."
