Andy Moss to join Holby City?

Andy Moss wants to join ‘Holby City’.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star – who was known for portraying Rhys Ashworth in the Channel 4 soap from 2005 until 2012 – is desperate to secure a role in the medical drama.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ today (09.06.16), he explained: "I love all the medical terminology, I love all the hospital scenes and I love all the gore and everything. I was thinking [I could play] a porter or something with a heart. But as always I’d play it with a dark side."
However, Andy isn’t too far away from his dream role as he’s currently playing Paul Cuthbert in medical soap ‘Doctors’, in which his alter-ego is locked in a mystery whodunnit plot.
Paul and his wife Rihannon (Lucy-Jo Hudson) are struck with thousands of questions when their newborn son Nicholas dies in suspicious circumstances.
Rhiannon claimed that the youngster tripped and hit his head, but there are doubts as to whether her story is true.
Despite their dark storyline, Lucy-Jo – who returned to acting after giving birth to her daughter Sienna two years ago – has thoroughly enjoyed working with Andy on the hard scenes.
She said: "It was great working with Andy, because he’s just brilliant, and we just had a really good time. And it was really good for me as my first job back [after giving birth] to prove to myself that I could do it because it was such a tough storyline, very dark, but I loved it."
Andy added: "As soon as I found out she was signed up for it, I was like ‘yep, sign me up.’ We’d known each other on the circuit for a while so it was nice to finally get to work together."
Meanwhile, although Andy is set on nabbing a role in ‘Holby City’, Lucy-Jo isn’t in any rush to secure her next gig.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress said: "I don’t know, that’s the good thing about this job, you don’t know what you’re next up for and I’ve got a couple of theatre things and I’m looking at drama."
