Daniel Radcliffe’s childhood home has been put on the market for £1.45 million.
The four-bedroom terraced house in Sherbrooke Road, Fulham, West London is where the 26-year-old Harry Potter actor is said to have lived up to the age of 12 with his father Alan Radcliffe, who worked as a literary agent, and his mother, casting agent Marcia Gresham.
James Turner, of estate agents Chestertons who are selling the property, told MailOnline: "This is Daniel Radcliffe’s childhood home it has only just come on the market so there has not been too much interest yet. We have had a handful of viewings though and we are hoping that interest will increase dramatically when the word gets out.
"We don’t advertise the house based on who used to live here but we do tell people when we take them round and they tend to raise a smile. Although there was one person who turned round and said, ‘Who is Daniel Radcliffe?”
The property, which overlooks a cemetery has been transformed into a luxury modern home.
In the marketing material, the house is described as a white-washed terrace and has two bathrooms, a double reception room with an exposed brickwork feature wall, converted loft and a kitchen with a dining room that opens out onto a private garden.
The property is expected to be snapped up – whether buyers are interested in its former famous resident or not.
Mr Turner said: "Prices on the whole are doing well in this part of London. This end of Sherbrooke Road wasn’t always as desirable and in demand as once it was, but now it is very much sought-after, as is most of the SW6 postcode that last year was voted the ‘happiest’ in London."
Daniel, who was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November last year, made his acting debut in BBC One’s 1999 television film ‘David Copperfield’, when he was just aged 10.
His big screen debut came in 2001 in ‘The Tailor of Panama’ and when he turned 11 years old, he was cast as Harry Potter and reprised his role in the J.K Rowling series for 10 years until the eighth and final film was released in 2011.
According to the Sunday Times Rich List 2016, the ‘Woman in Black’ star is worth £74 million.
