Emmerdale’s Chas Dingle gets new love interest

‘Emmerdale’s Chas Dingle is set to find a new lover.
The pub landlady – portrayed by Lucy Pargeter – hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to romance in recent years but it seems her love life may soon be on the rise as bosses have teased that a hunk will knock her off her feet.
And the storyline is something Lucy is thrilled about as she said: "When I heard the rumour, I was very happy about it."
The brunette beauty has been extremely unfortunate when it comes to her relationships in the past as she was left heartbroken when her on/off boyfriend Carl King (Tom Lister) was brutally murdered four years ago.
She also suffered a short failed marriage to Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) a few years ago and went through a distressing split from James Barton (Bill Ward) in recent years.
However, her most recent romance with her ex Gordon Livesy (Gerard Fletcher) will no doubt be one that will stay with her for a long time as he was sent to prison recently after being found guilty of sexually abusing their son Aaron (Danny Miller) as a child.
Talking about the overwhelming response to the abuse storyline, Lucy told the Star on Sunday newspaper: "The response we’ve had to Aaron’s story has been truly humbling. The letters Danny and I have received have been so open and honest. When you get someone’s personal opinion on it who identifies with it, then that’s pretty amazing."
