Gogglebox’s Chris Steed and Stephen Webb to join Celebrity Big Brother?

‘Gogglebox’s favourite duo Chris Steed and Stephen Webb are reportedly set to join this year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The hilarious TV double act – who used to date one another but are now engaged to other people – have signed a large money deal to join the infamous house alongside a string of other stars when the show returns to Channel 5 this summer.
A source told the Sun Online: "The show’s producers are really keen to get them on and would be happy to pay up to £500,000 to see it happen. Everyone’s really excited at the prospect because they are so dynamic and they already know they make great TV. They’re fan favourites and their dry humour is bound to be hilarious in the house."
Bosses are convinced the former lovers will have no problem running their mouths if they were to enter the abode, but their gig may mean they’ll have to give up their slot on ‘Gogglebox’.
But Chris and Stephen won’t be the first couch potatoes to join the reality TV show as George Gilbey also starred on ‘CBB’ in 2014, which saw him finish in fourth place.
The insider explained: "George was a surprise hit on the show due to, amongst other things, his relationship with both Stephanie Pratt and Edele Lynch. Chris and Stephen will do just as well, if not better."
Meanwhile, Chris and Stephen were in a relationship when they first signed up to take part in ‘Gogglebox’, but they split following one series on the show due to the pressures of being on TV, but continued to film the programme together.
