Louise Redknapp would back a ‘cool’ Eternal reunion

Louise Redknapp would bring back Eternal if a reunion was done in a "mature, cool way".
The 41-year-old star found fame in the 90s alongside sisters Vernie and Easther Bennett and Kelle Bryan in the R&B quartet and the group had a string of hits including ‘Stay’, ‘Oh Baby I…’ and ‘Just A Step From Heaven’ and a UK number two album with ‘Always & Forever’ as a four-piece.
Louise left in Eternal in 1995 to launch a successful solo career, while the girls went on to release three more LPs – ‘Power of a Woman’, ‘Before the Rain’ and ‘Eternal’ – as a trio and achieved even more hits.
The blonde beauty has always had some reservations about going back in "time" and rejoining her old bandmates but she’s now teased a reunion could "happen" if it was done right.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "If we could do it in a mature, cool way then yeah. But I think it would be hard. There are so many great, current artists. It’s harder when you have had your time. It has to happen very organically and naturally. And do it for fun rather than take it too seriously."
Eternal eventually disbanded in 2000, following a brief period of sisters working as a duo, but the threesome did get back together for ITV2 show ‘The Big Reunion’ in 2013.
Louise sold five million records as a solo artist with hits such as ‘Naked’ and ‘Light of My Life’.
She eventually walked away from the music business in 2004 to concentrate on raising a family.
Louise is married to retired footballer Jamie Redknapp, 42, and the couple have two children, Charley, 11, and Beau, seven.
