Helen Mirren: Alan Rickman would be proud of movie

Dame Helen Mirren thinks the late Alan Rickman would have been "really, really proud" of ‘Eye in the Sky’.
The 70-year-old actress thinks her friend – who lost his battle with cancer aged 69 in January – perfectly showcased his "wit, humanity and intelligence" in the drone warfare drama.
She said: "The Alan we see on the screen in ‘Eye In The Sky’ is Alan. It’s Alan as I remember him. His wit, his humanity, his intelligence.
"I think Alan would have been really, really proud for this to have been his last film."
Helen also praised the actor as a "genius" who was particularly "amazing" when it came to playing baddies.
Speaking on ‘The Andrew Marr Show’, she said: "Alan was a genius character actor and he could play all these amazing baddies."
Elsewhere on the show, the veteran actress jokingly dismissed suggestions she could again play Queen Elizabeth during the monarch’s 90th birthday pageant later this year.
She said: "No, the Queen will be the Queen. She’s much better at it than I am."
Helen recently admitted she is still in a "state of shock" over the ‘Harry Potter’ star’s passing.
She said: "I’m still in a state of shock about it. I looked at a picture of him just today and thought, ‘I can’t believe that I’m not going to see him again.’"
