Neighbours’ Matt Wilson has ‘road rage’ after filming

Neighbours’ Matt Wilson gets "road rage" after filming.
The 27-year-old actor – who portrays handsome stripper Aaron Brennan in the Australian soap – has admitted he quite often struggles to detach himself from his character once he’s finished filming and sometimes takes his aggression with him on the road.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "You get upset about certain things. It’s hard to snap out of it. Sometimes I’ve done scenes where I’m meant to be really frustrated with something and I get in the car after filming and I’ve got road rage. Like, seriously, I’m so angry and I feel like yelling and screaming but that’s just because I’m on a roll from what I’ve just done. I have to train myself to get into it as much as I have to train myself to get out of it. It’s like a race car – they have to be fast but they have to be able to stop."
And, although he’s only been on the soap a year, the former carpenter has admitted he has no trouble learning his lines.
He said: "Learning the lines isn’t actually that hard. I think, if you’re trying to remember a bunch of numbers then it’s hard but because they’re lines… you’re remembering the story so if you understand the flow of the story then you can remember the lines quite easily."
‘Neighbours’ airs on Channel 5, weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm.
