Prince Harry loves Forces ‘banter’

Britain’s Prince Harry says there is "nothing better than Forces banter".
The flame-haired royal – who used to be in the Army, including a 20-week deployment in 2012-2013, before departing in June 2015 – exchanged jokey jibes with his latest Invictus Games team yesterday (06.04.16) and admitted he loves the comical mocking that goes on.
He said: "[There’s] nothing better than Forces banter."
UK Team Captain, former Army Captain David Wiseman, admitted the team, which includes 110 men and women and two working dogs, are an incredibly close-knit group.
He added: "There is no shortage of morale here today.
"We have 110 guys here, all raring to go, refusing to be defined by their injures, using the Invictus Games as a vehicle for their recovery."
Harry also enjoyed some playful banter with one of the team member’s canines as the pooch immediately started barking and rolled over ready for a tummy tickle as he saw Harry.
Speaking about Jester, who belongs to Invictus team member Jon Flint, who will compete in archery and swimming, Harry said: "He’s not the first of my dogs to do that."
This year’s Invictus Games, an international adaptive sporting event for injured military members, will run from May 8-12 2016 at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, following on from the first event in 2014 which took place in London.
