Danielle Lloyd’s huge diamond engagement ring was designed by her fiancé.
The 32-year-old model and TV star proudly announced last month she is to tie the knot with Michael O’Neill following their whirlwind six-month romance and has now revealed the electrician made a special effort to win her hand in marriage, by creating the unique trinket for his lover.
Taking to her Instagram account to thank Michael and Birmingham based shop Klassy Jewellery, the brunette beauty posted a video of the dazzling sparkler and captioned the clip, "Massive thank u to @klassyjewellery for helping Michael design and make my engagement ring so…" alongside a heart and ring emoji.
The custom made ring features a six-carat diamond perched atop three bands of the smaller precious stones.
Danielle – who has sons Archie, five, Harry, four, and George, two, with her ex-husband, soccer player Jamie O’Hara – was proposed to on Valentine’s Day (14.02.16) and was surprised by the lengths Michael went to because he isn’t the type to make grand romantic gestures.
She said: "Michael isn’t into big, attention-seeking gestures.
"So it was even more special that he’d arranged the hotel and had the ring made. I was over the moon."
Though Michael moved in with Danielle after just three months of dating and they are now set to spend the rest of their lives together, the couple are in no hurry to tie the knot.
In an interview, Michael previously said: "We’re in no rush to set the date … we’re going to enjoy this year just for us."
